About the Event
January is the time of year to visit the bald eagles of Tioga County. Join us for an informative talk about how the eagles were repopulated in Tioga County and how they are doing today. Matt West is our resident expert on the eagles and works with TCWOA each year to help spread awareness of this national symbol and its importance in our local environment. This event is also sponsored by Step Outdoors Tioga County and the USACE. Last year, we spotted 14 eagles of all ages and a couple even posed on the ice for a photograph.
